Yamas to Greece!

Yamas to Friday, everyone! (Yamas is a very abbreviated way of saying “cheers!” in Greek). Last week, my family and I took a 9 day tour of Santorini, Mykonos, and Athens, Greece. It was the trip of a lifetime, and I am already dreaming of going back. In this post, I’ll be taking you through the overall itinerary, my wardrobe recommendations including my fave SGP jewelry pieces, must-have beauty products, and fave restaurants.

On top of Skaros rock. This is not for littles or people with limited mobility. We had to scale about 15 feet of rock that was at the top of a huge cliff. I’m fairly afraid of heights and it took a lot of self-talk to get me to the top. Worth it, though. The view of Santorini is priceless.

My favorite restaurants:
Santorini - Metaxi Mas

Athens - The Balcony

At the old castle in Oia, Santorini. This was the island’s fanciest city with lots of dramatic architecture, tons of shopping, restaurants, and beautiful alleyways to explore and discover. This part of the island is famous for watching sunsets, but BEWARE of the cruise ships. When the cruise ships dock and their passengers get off to explore the island, Oia is packed shoulder to shoulder especially at sunset. My recommendation: watch the sunset near Oia, you’ll still be able to see it, but you won’t be fighting with other tourists to get a good picture.
